Last year I participated in this program and it was so much fun! All the kids brought in their favorite books and read to me. It was so relaxing snuggling up and listening to a good story.
One little girl was such a talented reader last year that I licked her book! I hope she comes to read to me again this year.
To prepare for Friday I think I am going to practice and see if I can read back to the kids. So far all I can say is “woof!” but I am working on it. There are so many great books from which to choose.
I am looking forward to hearing lots of stories on Friday! It should be a page-turner!
